What to Expect
At your new patient appointment, your comprehensive exam will be based on a
full set of digital x-rays that allow the dentist to fully diagnose and treat
any problem areas in each tooth. Through the use of digital x-rays and
computerized enhancements, you can be assured that your entire mouth was taken
care of.
Prior to your dental cleaning, our staff will review any recommended treatment
with you, pointing out critical areas. Sometimes, no treatment is needed
(Yipee!) and you will then be directed to your cleaning appointment for an easygoing visit with our dental hygienists.
If you need to be seen for a toothache, we will be able to accommodate you the
same day you call. We will be focusing on any specific tooth or teeth that are
causing you pain or extreme discomfort. It is essential that you schedule a new
patient appointment shortly afterwards, so that your entire mouth can be fully
examined to prevent any unexpected pain and nuisances from happening in the
future.
